That's all very well Ms Teacher, but would you please stop explaining using Uptalk? If you speak making everything you say sound like a question, when in fact it is nit, well, you end up sounding like an insecure American teenager.

@@CurrentEnglish Thank you. Uptalk is like a linguistic epidemic virus coming from the USA which has already spoiled and degraded British English, I am afraid. You British should stop ruining your beautiful language and accent only because you want to sound more "modern" and "cooler". American English sounds awful, at least to my ears.
