      @@CurrentEnglish Thank you. Uptalk is like a linguistic epidemic virus coming from the USA which has already spoiled and degraded British English, I am afraid. You British should stop ruining your beautiful language and accent only because you want to sound more "modern" and "cooler". American English sounds awful, at least to my ears.

    Be careful though. Brits don't call a cat a 'cart', or a hat a 'hart' or a doormat, a 'doormart'. We don't call a baseball bat a 'bart'.
